Maintenance Team Member

Let me tell you about us. We are currently recruiting a Maintenance Team Member for our establishments Pachamama London, a Peruvian-inspired bar and restaurant in Marylebone that is dedicated to making the most of the extraordinary ingredients available in the UK. The cocktail menu is Pisco-focused and our cupboards are stocked with Mezcal, and  Chicama a seafood restaurant in Chelsea with a menu inspired by the coastal food of Peru and the bold-flavours of Peruvian cuisine. Fish is delivered daily from Cornwall and the vegetable dishes make inventive use of seasonal British produce. The bar exhibits a concise list of our favourite brands including Pisco, Mezcal, Japanese Whiskey, Sake by the glass and a wine list to accompany the vibrantly-flavoured food.
Your Day to Day role is extremely varied. It ultimately depends on where you are working but some of your regular duties could include:

Changing light bulbs and ensuring other fixtures and fittings are in good working order.
Rewiring, changing fuses, junction boxes etc.
Minor plumbing and carpentry
Clearing or cleaning general areas
Shifting furniture or equipment
Assembling furniture or equipment
Garden/landscape installation and maintenance.
Footpath maintenance
Painting and decorating
Clearing gutters
Changing filters on air conditioning systems.
Maintaining property exterior through the different seasons.

Requirements:

Ability to resolve problems and adhere to health and safety guidelines.
Ability to deal with other contractors or maintenance workers.
Being resourceful and self-motivated
Physically strong – capable of working with machinery or moving heavy equipment.
Being flexible
Able to resolve complaints quickly and efficiently.
Able to work as part of a team
Good communication skills
Basic electric and Plumbing skills
