Designers Guild is an expanding global company famous for its innovative, creative designs in home furnishings and interior design.
We are looking for a Maintenance Coordinator to join a busy team, primarily based in West London. The ideal candidate will be able to work well under pressure, have fluency in written and spoken English and demonstrate excellent attention to detail. A full UK clean driving license is essential.
General tasks will include:
Routine maintenance - carpentry, painting, wallpapering and basic plumbing
Routine inspections of property and equipment
Installation and work on seasonal external exhibitions and photo shoots (wallpapering, painting, general DIY)
Moving and assisting in transportation of furniture and equipment on photo shoots/exhibitions
Activating and deactivating building alarms and responding to alarm calls after and during regular work hours.
Ideally we are looking for a qualified craftsman who has a City and Guilds qualification or has completed an apprenticeship and has three years experience working for a company.
Within this role there will be some travel within the UK and to Europe on photo shoots.
