Pubs have been at the very heart of Young’s since the Company was established in 1831, and today we have 255 pubs and hotels, from contemporary vibrant pubs to small warm and friendly traditional favourites at the heart of their community. We are looking for a Maintenance Controller to join the team, supporting the Building Surveyors in the provision of a comprehensive and responsive maintenance support service for both reactive and planned preventative maintenance, capital replacement and compliance across the Young’s property portfolio. We have just migrated our repairs procurement across to the Pro Nett platform. This is a fast paced and often pressured role.
Key responsibilities:
Offer front line support to our retail operations colleagues ensuring we deliver a high quality repairs and maintenance service to all our pubs.
Help all users with any Pro Nett related queries and troubleshoot any problems.
Monitor all in progress repair orders chasing contractors for progress updates and feedback to the business.
Where necessary raise repair orders or request quotations on behalf of retail colleagues.
Ensure the Company’s premises and associated premises licenses and other operating licences are not endangered at any time.
Monitor and escalate Statutory Notices and Internal Audit Reports ensuring appropriate repairs are instructed and completed where required.
Assist the Building Surveyors in the management of statutory compliance planned maintenance activities.
