Thorburn Landscapes are recruiting a Maintenance / Soft Landscaping Gardener to join our existing team of friendly and enthusiastic gardeners and landscapers. We are a successfully expanding landscape and garden company based in South-West London that design, build, plant and maintain a range of gardens. Our clients include mainly residential houses, but also some commercial premises.

The role:

Ideally you will have at least 1 years’ experience of working in a similar position in a demanding city environment with van driving experience.
Good plant knowledge and a pro-active approach to plant care and garden maintenance.
You must be able to deliver a high level of customer service.
The work will be a mix of maintenance visits, soft landscaping, and planting projects.

SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS: (Ideally but not all required)

National Diploma or NVQ level 3 Horticulture or similar.
PA1/PA6a certification preferred
Full Clean UK driving license (or right to apply)
Excellent organisational and record keeping skills.
Good UK Plant knowledge
Pest and disease identification and treatment experience.
Irrigation experience preferred
Turf laying skills
Friendly and polite with good client skills.
Respect for clients and their property
Willing to take responsibility for additional duties.
