We are looking for a fantastic Machine Minder Team Leader with Engineering background to join our fast growing and busy Sandwich Factory.
Opportunity is available for 6am - 3pm shift, 5 days a week (Flexibility about days and hours required)
Reporting to the Production Manager. Successful applicants will be measured with the following KPI's:

Engineering background
Maintenance experience
Understanding of Maintenance plans
Understanding of SOPs

Some of the duties and responsibilities are as follows:
1. To be aware of the workload and allocate tasks to each team member, ensuring maximum productivity
2. Rotating staff fairly and effectively to ensure skills are maximised
3. Training new team members in all aspects of processing including equipment use, record keeping.
4. Ensuring correct maintenance of machinery
5. Maintaining high levels of Health, Safety and Hygiene at all times ensuring team members also adopt these high standards
6. Minimising waste of ingredients and materials
7. Motivating, evaluating and developing staff
8. Leading by example
9. Implement a clean as you go policy
10. Communicating well with your team and direct report
11. Co-operating with NPD and QA’s to ensure these departments work efficiently
12. Making sound decisions regarding maintenance and reporting to the Production Manager
