JOB DESCRIPTION
We are looking for a dynamic and experienced candidate to join our new team. This highly analytical role is the ideal opportunity to further develop your proven Stock control background. Reporting into the General Manager, the role will be responsible for taking ownership of all stockrooms, setting up best practice stockroom procedures, controlling stock in and out of the business and providing support across the selling floor.

The Wedding Gallery is an exciting new Wedding concept opening in November, described as the world’s first luxury wedding destination for retail and inspiration. The one stop shop for all wedding requirements. Confirmed brands across, Bridal, Lingerie, Beauty and Menswear include; Elie Saab, Oscar de la Renta, Urban Retreat, La Perla, Jimmy Choo, Thom Sweeney, Casely-Hayford and Gieves and Hawkes.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Oversee the running of three departmental stockrooms, as well as the main goods in stockroom, taking ownership of all stock across the business.
• Controlling all goods in procedures, checking deliveries from suppliers, inputting stock on to the system. Providing feedback to the General Manager and Merchandising of any discrepancies and damages.
• Liaising with third party companies to manage the movement of stock samples, ensuring all stock is accounted for in and out of the business.
• Manage all pre-retailing procedures, security and tagging of stock and maintaining a high standard of presentation of all stock.
• Take ownership of stock control measures, stock management and work closely with Merchandising to operate regular stock takes.
• Manage daily replenishment of stock and assist the retail stylists with all stock requirements.
• Provide general support the stylist staff.
REQUIREMENTS
• An experienced Stockroom assistant.
• experience in the wedding sector desirable but not essential.
• Operate with a 'can-do' attitude.
• Proficient excel and system skills.
• Ability to implement new ideas.
• Personable, confident and self-motivated, who is able to use their initiative and take ownership of tasks.
