We are a professional couple with a 5-1/2 year old girl and a 2 year old boy, living in Pimlico, London. We are looking for a live-out nanny to take care of our children, starting immediately for 5-6 hours everyday/ 5 days a week and then 5 days a week 7.30 am - 6.30 pm from mid November 2022 (could be earlier). We are looking for someone who is genuinely fond of looking after babies and children and who is enthusiastic about participating in their development. A keen interest in cooking , experience in looking after at least 2 children at once, toddler and child experience will be a plus.   Responsibilities include: (i) participating in activities to assist the psychological, emotional and physical development of our children (ii) entertaining with games and play activities appropriate for their age; (iii) reading to them; (iv) taking them to play groups in the local area; (v) Cooking nutritious food for the children (vi) washing and ironing their clothes and linen on a daily basis; (vii) helping in our son’s toilet training; (viii) changing bed linen; (ix) shopping - food, nappies and other essentials; (x) massaging and bathing them (xi) light housekeeping : laundry, tidiness, emptying dishwasher, organising as and when required (xii) school drop offs and pick up (xiii) helping with homework if needed We would like the nanny to work with us for the long term and become a part of our family and will prefer candidates who are willing to make a long term commitment. The candidate must: (i) have prior experience of working with babies and children performing all the above activities; (ii) be able to provide verifiable references from past employers; (iii) have a CRB number and ideally be OFSTED registered; (iv) be fluent in English and have NVQ qualifications; another language will be a bonus (v) ideally have first aid training; (vi) be a non-smoker.
