We are looking for a Spanish speaking nanny/housekeeper to help us with our kids as well as housekeeping.
We are a family of 5, with 3 lovely kids. Two boys aged 3.5 and 2 and a 7 month old girl. They are all very cheerful and with lots of energy. They love playing outside and we are keen on having activities outside the house most days and encourage them to play outdoors as much as possible. We have a very good park behind the house which we go to a lot and have a garden that we use all year round. We also like taking the kids into town for activities such and museums, shows etc.
You will have your own bedroom and a shared bathroom with the kids. We live in a lovely neighborhood in southwest London, next to a lovely park and walking distance from tube and train stations.
We are looking for someone who has lots of energy, enjoys playing with children, follows their routine and is happy to help us keep our house clean and tidy. Someone with initiative who sees something needs to be done and is happy to do it.
Nannying Duties include:
-To help get kids ready to start the day (wake up, dress, breakfast and ready to go to school and nursery on certain days).
-To help with afternoon and bedtime routines.
-To look after the kids during different times of the day, on occasion all three kids mostly 1 or 2 - depending on the day and time. Either at home or take them out to park, etc. Play with them, make different activities for them, help with potty training if required, help with school tasks if required.
-Nursery drop-off and pick-up when required (walking distance)
-Cook for kids (sometimes - as required)
Help with general housekeeping:
-The kids rooms and your room and bathroom are all on the first floor, which should be kept clean and tidy. This includes hoovering/dusting once a week, changing beds, cleaning Toys and keeping the bathroom clean.
-Kids clothes (wash and sort)
-The ground floor is the communal area, the kids spend most of their time here – open plan kitchen dining and living room - is to be kept clean and tidy throughout the day and generally at the end of the day. Deeper cleaning of this area, including hoover/mopping and dusting twice a week. We all contribute to keep this area clean and tidy as its everyone’s communal area and where we spend most of our time.
Hours:
-An average of approximately 37 hours a week to be agreed.
-Monday to Friday 7AM-7:30PM with breaks in between (The kids are not here all the time and mum doesn’t work so there are times in the day when you wont be needed and the 37 hours allow for housekeeping chores).
-One evening of babysitting per week.
-One weekend morning per month by agreement (from kids wake up to 10:00)
You must have:
1. UK/EU Passport or valid visa
2. experience working with children and doing housekeeping.
3. Speak Spanish and at least some English.
Weekly Salary: £450 gross
