We are looking for a live-in au pair to join our family in helping look after our four-year-old daughter Claudia, who is due to start school in September.
We are looking for someone who is kind, caring, hard-working, creative, independent and above all is confident with and loves children. Claudia is very happy, talkative child and loves games, activities and socialising with other children.
As she will be at school from 9-3.30pm, your average day is a mix of childcare and very light housework (we have a cleaner). There is spare time to focus on your hobbies, take a course or even a part-time job.
We would like you to be at least 21, speak English well, and help with after school projects.
The role is approximately. 25 hours over a 5 day week, plus two nights of babysitting (which may include a weekend night). You will have four weeks holiday and bank holidays paid holiday each year.
We offer you a supportive and friendly environment in a lovely area of South West London where there are lots of parks, restaurants, and many other friendly au pairs who we can introduce to you. Your happiness is important to us as a member of our household.
As parents we both work full time with some flexibility, plus a little overseas travel. We are both around to support you and will often take the children to school.
You will have your own self-contained Loft conversion – with double bed, Sky TV and wireless internet. This gives you the possibility of being independent at times, as well as being a very welcome part of our family.
We would like you to have checkable references (very important), have an UK/EU Visa/Work Permit, be able to interview in person, and CRB checked. A driver’s licence is also essential as you will need to drive a very short distance to pick up our daughter from school. You do not need your own car. We would like someone to start from mid-August. We are looking for someone who can ideally stay until the end of the school year (July 2022), longer if possible.
We are looking forward to welcoming you to our family! Please include with your CV a short paragraph on why you'd like this role with your salary expectations.
