Dear Au Pair
We need someone to start working at the beginning of July if possible. We would like a good English speaker who has some child care experience and references.
We are a small, happy family who live in Barnes, London. We have two Burmese cats and live in a house with 4 bedrooms and a small garden. Our daughter, is nearly 6 years and in the first year at our local school (5 minutes walk). Our son, is nearly 4 years and is at a nursery school until July and then school from September. An au pair's tasks would be: looking after the children - cooking them food, taking them to school, playing with them, taking them to clubs, helping them with reading and writing, taking them on outings during holidays. We need someone who is genuinely interested in children and wants to teach them about the world. We would like someone who is kind, intelligent and thoughtful and, of course, reliable and safe. Also we would like our au pair to help with household jobs such as dropping off dry cleaning, doing a little food shopping, cleaning out the cat litters (we need someone who likes cats), putting a wash on, a little bit of ironing, tidy the children's bedrooms. Sometimes we might go away for the weekend and we would like the au pair to look after the cats when we are away. We need someone to babysit two nights a week. We have a single bedroom with a bathroom shared with the children. We offer all food, wifi and accommodation. We offer a good au pair salary to the right applicant.
