A new opportunity has arisen for a Tavern Head Chef. The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day food management of the Lord's Tavern kitchen operations to ensure delivery of a high-end pub food offer. This will include the ongoing development of the Lord's Tavern food menu, staff training and stock control whilst improving quality and standards with budgeted targets.
The Tavern Head Chef must possess an in depth knowledge of food trends within the industry. The ideal candidate should have a confident understanding of General Practitioner controls and labour margins. The candidate must be able to identify sales and marketing opportunities in order to drive and develop the business. Other key responsibilities include product and menu development of the food offerings, stock control management and maintenance of both the front and back of house service standards in keeping with the grounds iconic status.

Essential Requirements:
* The ideal candidate will have significant experience in a similar role and will currently be at a Senior Sous of Head Chef level within a high volume, food-led business.
* Strong leadership, successful management and the ability to demonstrate this success is essential.
* Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills and the ability to establish relationships with a range of customers and suppliers is required.
* A passion for food/beverage and up to date knowledge of current food/beverage trends is key.
* The ability to prioritise, self-plan and organise workloads and work to often tight deadlines.
