About us:
Notting Hill Carnival is one of the largest outdoor events in Europe.
During the Carnival season we host various high profile events with the most important events taking place over the August bank holiday weekend (26th, 27th, 28th) - when our famous parade fills Notting Hill with colour in front of over 1 million spectators.
We are looking for enthusiastic, energetic volunteers to help us to cover a number of challenging tasks for the Judging Zone, which is known as the ‘heart of the Carnival’. It is where the carnival route begins and the Masquerade and Steel Pan Bands are judged.
WE NEED YOU:
To facilitate the area, we recruit hundreds volunteers to assist in the delivery of the event in the following areas:
• Administration - (capacity to work remotely and you must have your own laptop)
• Vehicle Registration – Pre-event
• Vehicle Control – on the event days
• Event Hosting - on the event days
• Guest List Management - both pre-event and on the event days
• Costume and Props
• Runners
• Gatekeeping
If you would like to gain volunteering experience with LNHCET there are many opportunities to volunteer within our community. We are looking for a full range of skills from the obvious to obscure.
