Logistics Planner Job in London

- Progressing of orders
- Scheduling of deliveries and installations
- Organising Labour
- Organising floor layers diary
- Goods in/out
- Planning routes
- Assisting with deliveries and installations
- Answering phones
- Liaising with both clients and suppliers
- Resolving problems on jobs/replacement items etc:
- Loan/sample chair log
- Furniture stock take (every 6 months)
- Flooring stock and weekly ordering
- Organising Van Hire/Skip Hire/Crate Hire
- Congestion charges
- Parking Dispensations
- Organising and keeping records of PMI’S/MOTs/ Servicing requirements
for 7.5 ton lorry and small fleet of vans.
- Adhoc duties where required.
Requirements:
- Full clean drivers Licence
- Confident telephone manner
- Presentable
- Geographical knowledge of London and the home counties
- Computer literate: Proficient in Outlook E mails and Word
- Excel – an advantage but not essential
Average day comprises of progressing outstanding orders by liaising with both suppliers and customers alike. Forward scheduling of our installation teams; receiving in deliveries and updating our order progress system accordingly, as well as general housekeeping duties in the warehouse.
The job is extremely varied on a day to day basis, primarily office/warehouse based but occasionally required to assist with installations / deliveries.
We are looking for someone to become an integral part of our small team.
