The Albion Knitting Company are looking for an able bodied person to work in our logistics dept as we become busier and busier. The job being advertised includes but is not limited to the following points:
* Weighing and recording yarn deliveries
* Counting and recording trim deliveries
* Stock take weekly (Friday or Monday , depends on yarn forecast delivery) for the yarn released and returned during the week
* Yarn wraps for colour card per composition - creating new wraps for each new delivery
* Building boxes for packing
* Understanding of stock system for yarn and trims
* Releasing and returning yarn to and from production
* Split and wax yarn for programmers in situations where they need assistance
* Helping in knitting/packing departments as and when required
Excel skills are required for this position.
