We require a reliable, trustworthy, local, flexible individual who can work to fill the gaps in our Kew Gardens BandB staffing needs. This is to provide cover on an adhoc basis when we are out of town or on holiday.
Role requires occasional mix of:
- checking in hotel guests
- serving breakfast
- cleaning rooms
- ironing
- shopping for food
- making shopping lists
- sleeping over to care take
The regular hours:
07:00 - 11:00 on Sundays
gradually this will be increased to 2 days a week
The part-time role:
When we are away which tends to be upto 8 weeks in a year, we require someone to manage the BandB for us. This means checking in guests, listening to their requirements (breakfast time, checkout time, other needs), checking out guest, buying food for breakfast, cleaning and sleeping over to be present in the house when we are not here. You will work with our permanent staff. We are able to give you a schedule ahead of time but there may be an occasional emergency situation where we may need to call you in. You would need full clearance from current employers with 2-3 references as we need you to take care of keys and manage the property in our absence.
This role is ideal for someone local to our BandB who needs some occasional work to supplement his or her current income. It would only work if the individual is flexible and able to fill in at short notice period.
Payment is £10 per hour, and £25 per overnight stay (18:00-07:00)
