Do you want to be part of an amazing project? Over the next month, The Trafalgar St James will be transformed into a 5* Luxury Lifestyle Boutique Hotel, with two destination food and drink outlets.
We are looking for a Lobby Host to join our expanding Front of House team, who will be the main point of call for our guests and assist them with anything they might need.
Your key areas of responsibility will include:
•Welcoming guests into the hotel in the main lobby area
•Communicating with the guests in a helpful and friendly manner, acting as a true ambassador for excellent service
•Securing guest luggage and delivering luggage to guest’s rooms
•Assisting the guests to their rooms and showing them around
•Arranging transportation
•Promoting the hotel, food and drink outlets, and the hotel services at all times
•Advise on tourist and hotel information
•Assisting the reception team during busy periods
•Liaising with all departments and ensure swift and efficient communication across the hotel
•Ensuring all relevant feedback from guests is dealt with in an efficient manner and informed to the Head Concierge and Front Office Manager
The ideal candidate is an individual who cares about providing excellent service to our guests and who can use their intuition and creativity to deliver a wondrous experience for everyone. You will be able to maintain a positive and calm outlook regardless of what challenges the shift might bring, and able to make decisions without supervision.
As a minimum we would expect you to have excellent verbal and written communication skills, the ability to work different shift patterns, and a desire to provide exceptional customer service. experience within a similar environment is preferable, however we recruit for attitude rather than experience and will give you the tools to ensure you will be successful in your role.
