Our client is looking for a responsible and hardworking Livestock Manager Assistant to join a team of professional farmers at the client’s private estate in Hampshire. The client is considering both live-in and live-out candidates. Accommodation will be provided if necessary.
Your responsibilities will include:
Provide various assistance to the Livestock Manager of the Estate
Daily cleaning of animal pens
Milking
Feeding animals throughout the farm
Foot trimming and worming
Moving livestock when necessary
Alert the Livestock Manager in case of potential illness observation
Other ad hoc responsibilities
Requirements:
At least 1 + year experience working with livestock
Ability to work with animals, e.g. Feeding, trimming feet, milking etc.
Good communication skills
Friendly and outgoing attitude
Ability to work in Hampshire
Ideally immediate availability.
