We are a European couple looking for a highly energetic, organised nanny to take care of two children aged 18 months and 4 years. Working hours are 6.30am to 7-7.30pm, but contractually the nanny would have a 10 hour/day employment with all extra hours given as holidays (full/half days). In total it amounts to 28 days of statutory holidays plus c.30 days of extra holidays, depending on the hours worked, to be taken mid-July to end of August, around Christmas, and occssional half-term holidays. Both parents work full time with frequent business travelling so 1-2 times per month the nanny might be required to work until 9-9:30pm at latest. No weekend cover is required unless exceptional circumstances arise. The nanny should get the children ready in the mornings, take them to and from nursery/classes, organise play dates and give lunch. No cleaning is required, just help with the laundry and ironing of children clothes.
Excellent English is required, nannies with strong accents will not be considered as the family does not speak English at home. A degree or experience in teaching are highly recommended. Our current nanny is moving abroad on the 15th of September, so we are looking for a replacement as soon as possible.
