Live out Nanny for two Bright

Posted: Today
Place: Ealing, Greater London

We're looking for warm and experienced nanny to join our family and care for our 7 and 5 yo boys:
- Mon - Thursday 8am - 6.30pm
- Plus flexibility to do babysitting/later stays as required.
- Ideally you'd be available on the occasional Friday/afternoon too.
- Can join us in Sept (flexible about when), before Mum starts her new job in October.

We are a New Zealand/British family, with both Dad and Mum employed in professional jobs, so this is a sole charge position. We live 15 minutes walk from Ealing Broadway Station.

Our boys are very active, smart and curious about the world, so we want someone who has bundles of energy, and really wants to play with the kids - whether that's building Lego, playing trains, puzzles, kicking a ball around the park or taking them to museums.

Both kids are at school during the day, so as nanny you would be responsible for.

- Getting the boys ready for school and dropping them off at school (a short 10 minute walk away)
- Picking them up from school at 3.30pm After school you would be doing regular nanny duties:
- Playing with them/hosting/having playdates.
- Taking them to do activities
- Helping them with their daily Maths and English homework and guiding their reading.
- Giving them dinner
- And occasionally bath and bedtime routine.

While they are at school the duties consist of generally keeping the house well organised and running smoothly - whether that's tidying up or doing the dishwasher, cooking the family a nutritious meal, laundry/ironing, running errands and organising cupboards and clothes or planning for kids. We have a weekly cleaner, so full cleaning duties are not required.

During school holiday time you'll be looking after the children full time.

With an active family life, this position would suit a well organised, patient nanny with a 'can-do' attitude. You'll be someone that enjoys cooking. Someone who is also a cat lover - we have two cats who like to play! Someone who is happy to help out and can be flexible if extra hours are required.

You don't need have to have loads of qualifications, but you do need to have previous nanny experience with children of this age.

Excellent spoken and written English (to help with homework), the right to work in the UK long-term and excellent checkable references, are essential. Also someone who has an enhanced DBS check and valid First Aid certificate.

If this sounds like you, and you're available to work 8am - 6.30pm, Mon-Thu 4 days per week (and occasional babysitting/later finish, with flexibility to work the occasional Friday afternoon during term time and full day during school holidays a bonus), then we'd love to hear from you.

Please send us an email about why you think you'd be perfect, along with your cv (with reasons for leaving your previous job), your salary expectations and a recent photo.

We look forward to hearing from you!
