We are looking for someone to provide wrap around care for our 2 lovely boys. The boys are currently 4 years old and 18 months old. The older one will be starting primary school in September and the younger one will continue going to nursery for part of the day. We are a friendly, easy going family but both my husband and I work long hours as doctors so need someone who is reliable, organised and flexible. We need someone who can work 3-4 days a week (negotiable). You will always have a day off on Wednesdays.
Our ideal candidate would be EITHER of the below:
1. CHILDCARE ONLY- wrap around care for both boys, before (from 7 - 9:30am) and after school/ nursery (3 - 6:30pm). Jobs would include getting them dressed in the morning, drop off to school and nursery (both within walking distance) and then pick up both in the afternoon and starting dinner and occasionally bath and bed time if we are running late (5-6 hours a day).
2. CHILDCARE/ HOUSEKEEPING- As above but the younger one would be with you for longer during the day and at nursery for 2-3 hours only. Additional duties would include cooking for the family and light housekeeping whilst the boys are at school/ nursery and running a few errands/ collect shopping (8-9 hours a day).
From August we would like you to provide ad-hoc childcare so that you and the boys can get to know each other. We are keen to find someone who can be flexible with his or her time and is reliable with coming in for early starts (7am). We always try our hardest to get back on time but there may be the occasional evening where we may be late back from work.
We primarily want someone who will really care for our boys. We want you to be kind, stimulate and interact with them and provide a stable environment. Our older son will be starting school in September, leaving his younger brother at nursery. So far they have always been together and so the first few weeks will be a big change for both. They are loving boys with lots of energy and are loads of fun to be with.
Although we are looking for a ‘live out’ person, we are looking for somebody who is organised, flexible and reliable, who will stay with us long term and who will become part of our family.

Salary from £10 per hours (negotiable depending on experience and qualifications)
