We are a family living in Maida Vale and we are looking for a fabulous new nanny/Manny to look after our 8 year old son.
We are flexible in terms of hours and more than anything, we’re looking for the right person for us and our son, and would be happy to consider part time or full time options for that right person, as well as pay a very competitive rate. All our nannies have stayed with us long term so we are looking for someone who will do the same and be part of our family.
At a very minimum, we are looking for after school during term time (3.30pm to 6.30/7pm) and full time in school holidays (8am to 6.30pm), but happy to offer more hours, up to full time. Additional hours would also be available for evening babysitting.
We’re looking for someone to start end of September/beginning of October.
The duties would include:
- School pick up (and some drop offs if full time)
- Coordinating and taking to/from after school clubs
- Arranging and supervising playdates
- Help with homework – therefore fluent English essential
- Light meal preparation
- Keeping bedroom/playroom tidy
- No housework as we have a cleaner
We are looking to find somebody who:
- Is kind, caring and has a genuine interest in kids development
- Has a friendly, positive outlook on life
- Has lots of energy to keep up with an active 8 year old boy
- Has patience to help him with educational and social needs and development
- Is mature and calm and will be a good role model
- Is pro-active in arranging activities and playdates
- Is reliable and flexible as both parents work
- Is a non-smoker
- Has an easy commute to Maida Vale
- Has childcare experience with checkable references
- Has or is willing to apply for an enhanced CRB and a First Aid course if offered the position (which we are happy to pay for)
It would be a bonus if you speak French, play the piano and/or love football/cricket/tennis!
