We are looking for a fun and energetic nanny for 15-20 hours per week, split between 2-3 days, ideally to start in September. We live in SW11 and have a three-year-old daughter as well as a baby boy who is now nine months old. Our daughter is bright, energetic, sociable and very entertaining and our baby is energetic, Smiley and loves cuddles! So we are looking for someone with plenty of enthusiasm, energy and warmth who can help provide a fun and loving environment for them. The role will be predominantly sole charge although I will be generally around and may take one of the children here or there.
Hours: Our daughter is at nursery school in the mornings from 9am to 12pm during term time so we would ideally like the hours to be focused on the afternoons from 12pm until bedtime, two or three times per week. Ideally, we would like someone who can be a little flexible with when the hours are depending on what comes up and how things progress, although that is not essential. We would also like someone who can do the occasional evening of babysitting.
experience: We are looking for someone with several years of experience caring for children, in particular toddlers and babies. Do you have the creativity and imagination to play and invent games with a fun-loving toddler, as well as the patience and experience to deal with the moments of upset and frustration? Do you have the warmth and affection to care for a baby as well as the flexibility to adapt to changing routines as the baby gets older?
More generally, we are a friendly, laid-back family and would love to find someone who can be a positive and happy new member of our household!
