English family are looking for an English speaking Nanny with excellent English writing ability to care for a 3 year old girl and an 8 year old boy who both attend the same school. Start End of May/Beginning of June.
Term time hours are 3 days Monday, Tuesday and Thursday, 1-7pm.
School Holidays same 3 days 9am - 7pm (more hours can be offered)
Duties and requirements :
- Be kind, patient and caring.
- Be well organised and forward thinking.
- Have a full, clean drivers license and be a confident driver. (Car provided)
- Take children to after school clubs and activities during and out of school term time.
- To ensure homework is carried out and provide help confidently with Maths, English, RE and other subjects where necessary on a daily basis.
- Make sure piano and spelling practice happen daily. Or any other other play, reading or practice oriented project that might be going on at the time!
- Be a good cook providing a varied weekly menu of freshly cooked meals for children and parents.
- Be able to bath the children daily and put to bed if occasionally needed.
- Carry out weekly online grocery and household shop.
- Take care of family washing and ironing for the children only.
- Be happy to run errands to post office, dry cleaners etc.
- Be prepared to stay late or babysit from time to time.
- Enjoy taking part in activities and playdates with the children.
- Have an updated CRB check and first aid certificate.
- Have previous childcare experience of being a sole charge nanny with checkable references.
- No travel with family required.
