Fabulous live out nanny role in the heart of Chiswick caring for two school aged children G10 and G14 in Chiswick available immediately - would suit someone travelling and wanting to spend time in the UK on a Tier 5 work visa.
We have previously had 2 lovely and fun Australian nannies who have stayed with us for many years, and are keen to find someone similar who would be interested in working with us. We have a relaxed approach, and there is a fair bit of flexibility in the role which would suit someone who is perhaps visiting the UK on a travel visa.
We work full time and are looking for a fun and caring nanny to fit in with our family and look after our children. Our older daughter is away at boarding school during term-time so the main role is to support our 10 year old daughter. Hours can be flexed to work but would be upto 40 hours/week which comprise shorter days during term time so mornings off and then full days during school holidays. Some limited babysitting will be involved (1 night/week).
Daily term time routine will be pick up from school, arranging and hosting playdates, getting out for walks/swimming/playing sport, supporting club activities etc and then home for dinner, homework and the bath/bed routine. We are also looking for someone for is able to help with homework - reading and basic maths and writing as our younger daughter is moving towards 11 + exams in January.
During school holidays, our older daughter who has learning difficulties, but is very calm, sweet and utterly gorgeous, will be home and so the role at this stage would be to support both girls by getting out and going for walks, bike rides, swimming and generally having fun.
We have always viewed our nanny as part of the family so finding someone who is relaxed and fun is an important part of the role.
Due to the nature of the role, our nanny needs to a good cook, be able to drive an automatic car, have good spoken English and live within easy reach of Chiswick (we are near Turnham Green tube)
