We are looking for a nanny / housekeeper to help look after our two children - a girl (4) and boy (2) - three days per week. We are based in the Wandsworth Common / Clapham area. The job will begin in late September.
The days/hours are subject to discussion but likely to be Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday from 7am to 5:30pm. Our daughter will go to school and our son to nursery school in the mornings. During the term time, the day will involve getting the children fed and ready, taking them to school/nursery school, doing some light cleaning/ironing/cooking/errands, picking up our son and giving him lunch, picking up our daughter, keeping the kids happy and entertained in the afternoon and preparing their dinner. During half-term and school holidays, you will be required to care for the children for the day (including nursery duties). There may also be occasions where we would ask you to do babysitting in the evening as well.
The children's schools are within walking distance from our house and so we do not require a nanny who drives.
You must be a non-smoker and able to speak English well (though it does not have to be your first language).
A DBS check, first aid course complete and Ofsted registration would be an advantage.
We are offering employment on a contract, with a gross wage of £12.50 per hour.
No agencies please.
If we get a lot of respondents, we may not be able to get back to everyone personally.
