A lovely family from Ealing is looking for a Nanny to join their family. The baby is 10 months old and the mother is due in September. This position is shared care with the mother. The mother is at home and likes to be involved with the children as she is the main carer of both children. The family is looking for a Nanny who would be happy to share the care of both children with the mother by simply helping her out with the duties related to the babies and very light housekeeping (the family employs a regular cleaner). The childcare duties involve feeding, bathing, changing nappies, weaning, and other nursery duties, performed alongside the mother (you will be sole charge just occasionally for up to 2 hours) as well as playing with the children or taking the children to activities; when the mother is busy with the new-born then looking after the older baby, when the mother wants to be with both children then performing simple housekeeping duties (babies’ laundry, emptying dishwasher, light tidying up), when the mother wants to spend time with the older child then looking after the new-born, and so on. The family has 2 cats which you are not obliged to look after, just from time to time give them some food. If you are positive in nature, have an experienced as a Mother’s Help, are happy to work alongside the mother and have some experience with babies, then this vacancy is just for you!
Applying for this position you must have at least 3 years of experience as a Nanny, up-to-date CRB/DBS and Paediatric First Aid (or happy to process these immediately), and checkable references.
