Live Out Housekeeper/Nanny required for a friendly family based in Highbury, North London. This is a varied role with flexible hours and no two days will be the same. The right candidate will be highly flexible and have a natural real ‘Muck in’ attitude. The family are looking for an experienced Housekeeper/Nanny who enjoys a busy role, is child friendly and shows strong initiative. The role will involve general housekeeping and looking after 2 lovely children (2 Girls 10 and 13 years old). The candidate is to act as both a carer and companion to the children and will do the school run, take them to activities and their Tutors, help with homework etc. You will be required to keep the house clean and tidy, cook relaxed family meals when required (not on a daily basis) The family have second homes in UK and Ibiza and the candidate may be asked to accompany them.
Location: Highbury, London
Salary: According to experience £12net per hour +
Hours: Flexible hours Monday to Friday (core hours being 8am-5pm approximately) and occasional babysitting (when babysitting, an occasional overnight stay may be required)
Extra holiday to be taken during school holidays
Start date: Flexible
Live In/Out: Out but accommodation in the family home provided if required
Requirements:
• 3 + years’ relevant experience
• Flexibility to work core hours but be adaptable to a busy family life where hours change according to the family’s schedule
• Able to occasionally stay late if the parents are working late or babysit for an event, or babysit (prior notice given)
• Excellent cleaner, ironer and laundress
• experience of cleaning fine finishes
• Good family cook and enthusiasm for healthy living
• Likes to care for and ideally has experience of caring for children of a similar age
• Excellent contactable references and current DBS check or willing to undertake one
• Fluent spoken and written English, Spanish language an advantage but not essential
• Driver ESSENTIAL
• Non Smoker
• Pet friendly – the family have a sweet natured Spaniel
