Location: Highbury, London N5
Salary: Negotiable according to experience
Hours: Monday to Friday 8am – 4pm approximately. And Thursday 9-5pm approximately.
Plus occasional babysitting/overnight stay
Live Out: but accommodation in the family home provided for occasional overnight stays
We are looking for a Live-Out Housekeeper for a friendly family in N5 Highbury. This is a varied role and no two days will be the same. The right candidate will be hands on and be happy to assist the family with lots of varied tasks. The family are looking for an experienced Housekeeper who is child and dog friendly and must be a confident driver to run errands.
You will be required to keep the house clean and tidy, sometimes cook relaxed family meals (not on a daily basis as the Mother also likes to cook and the family also enjoy to dining out) and babysit on occasion where an overnight may be required.
The family also have homes in UK and Ibiza and the candidate may on occasion be asked to accompany them.
Requirements:
• 3 + years’ relevant experience
• Flexibility to work core hours but be adaptable to a busy family life where hours change according to the family’s schedule
• Able to occasionally stay late if the parents are working late or babysit for an event, or babysit (prior notice given)
• Good housekeeping skills and decent family cook
• Pleasant, honest, flexible with a good attitude
• Reliable, good initiative
• Discreet and respectful
• Good contactable references
• Current DBS check or willing to undertake one
• Fluent spoken and written English,
• Driver ESSENTIAL
• Non Smoker
• Pet friendly – the family have a sweet natured Spaniel
