Location: Highbury, London
Salary: According to experience £12net per hour +
Hours: Flexible hours Monday to Friday (with core hours being 8am – 4pm approximately. And later hours on a Thursday) plus occasional babysitting/overnight stay
Extra holiday to be taken during school holidays

Live In/Out: Out but accommodation in the family home provided for overnight stays
We are looking for a Live-Out Housekeeper for a friendly and welcoming family based in North London. This is a varied role with flexible hours and no two days will be the same. The right candidate will demonstrate a high level of flexibility and a real ‘Muck in’ attitude. The family are looking for an experienced Housekeeper who enjoys a busy role, is child friendly and shows strong initiative.
The role is predominantly general housekeeping plus keeping an eye on 2 lovely girls (aged 10 and 13 years). The candidate should help develop a friendly relationship with the children and help out with taking them to Tutors, helping with homework and contributing positively to their development. You will be required to keep the house clean and tidy, cook relaxed family meals when required (not on a daily basis as the Mother also likes to cook and the family also enjoy to dining out) and babysit on occasional where an overnight may be required.
The family have homes in Northamptonshire and Ibiza and the candidate may be asked to accompany them. If not with the family, you would be expected to take your holiday during this time also.
Requirements:
• 3 + years’ relevant experience
• Flexibility to work core hours but be adaptable to a busy family life where hours change according to the family’s schedule
• Able to occasionally stay late if the parents are working late or babysit for an event, or babysit (prior notice given)
• Excellent cleaner, ironer and laundress
• experience of cleaning fine finishes including antiques, silverware, marble and wooden floors
• Good family cook and enthusiasm for healthy living
• Pleasant personality, honest, flexible with a good attitude
• experience of children of a similar age
• Reliable, good initiative and time management skills
• Discreet and respectful
• Excellent contactable references
• Current DBS check or willing to undertake one
• Fluent spoken and written English, Spanish language an advantage but not essential
• Driver ESSENTIAL
• Non Smoker
• Pet friendly – the family have a sweet natured Spaniel
