Family Desciption and Location

This is a lovely job for a housekeeper who can also cook family style food  to work for a friendly informal family who are about to move to a new home in the Belsize Park area of London, very close to the underground station.  The family have two children, with another on the way -  they have a full time nanny so there is no childcare with this job but you will need to be 'child friendly'.

Job Description
Your role will include cleaning the home and presenting it to a good standard, laundry and ironing, changing the sheets and other household linen, writing shopping lists for food and other household items, greeting guests and bringing drinks or refreshments, and cooking a family style meal for dinner for the Principals and older children.  You will need to decide what to cook (they will tell you what the family favourites are!) and make sure that you have the right ingredients.  You do not need to serve dinner, you can just leave it for them to help themselves.

Candidate Requirements
It is essential that you have worked as a housekeeper cook in a private residence for at least three years with suitable references.  You will need to speak good English, be able to cook family style meals, and able to organise your own day and your own work.

Working Days/Hours and Salary
This is a live out job working Monday to Friday (or Tuesday to Saturday if that suits you better, but it is not essential) and you can start between 8am and 9am and finish between 6pm and 7pm.  Salary will depend on your experience and working hours but will be in the region of £500 net per week.
