Great job for an experienced housekeeper to look after a professional family living in a lovely Kensington home. The family have a teenage daughter who lives at home and two older sons who do not live at the residence on a full time basis.
The role will be look after their home, cleaning to a high standard including looking after specialist surfaces, presenting the home well, laundry and ironing, and you should know how to look after fine fabrics and good clothing, making up guest rooms, household shopping if needed, setting the table for meals, dealing with contractors and suppliers when needed, meeting and greeting visitors and anything that is needed to help the house run smoothly. The family have a private chef so you will not need to cook, except occasionally if needed you may be asked to make light food. The family travel on a regular basis and they do need someone who is capable of looking after the running of the home in their absence.
It is essential that you have worked as a housekeeper in an executive style home for at least 3 years with suitable references. You need to speak good English, have an eye for detail and are able to organise your own work and your own day.
This is a live out job working five days a week, your exact hours can be discussed at interview - some flexibility with days and hours of work will be needed when the family are in residence (you will not be expected to work every weekend), and when they are not in residence you will have the weekend free. Salary will be £550-600 net per week depending on your experience.
