Family Description and Location
This is an interesting role working for a House Manager / Housekeeper to work for a professional British family who have homes in Notting Hill Gate and Oxford.  The role will be to manage both of their homes.

Job Description
The role involves organising the housekeepers/cleaners at each property, doing shopping for each property including an online food order, making sure their flowers in the reception rooms, that bedroom and guest Suites are made up to a high standard, that the houses are presented to a top standard, dealing with contractors and suppliers for each property and making sure that each home is a warm and welcoming place for when the principals arrive.  There are cleaners/housekeepers working at each house, and you will be organising them, but you should also be prepared to be 'hands on' and help if the house is going to be busy or there is laundry to be done etc.
You will need to divide your time between each property, the actual days/hours will be down to you.  If you need to get from London to Oxford then you can get the 'Oxford Bus' which is  very quick and you will be collected from the station.  The cost of your travel will be reimbursed and your travelling time will be during your working day.

Candidate Requirements
The role requires someone who has come from a housekeeping background and who has worked to a high level, and that you have also done house management duties, know how to liaise with PAs and principals in order to know what is in the household diary so that you can organise each property accordingly, have managed other staff, can arrange for suppliers and contractors when needed, and know how a high level household is run - and be able and happy to be 'hands on' when needed .  You will need to speak good English and be able to organise your own day and the cleaning staff at two residences.

Days of Work, and Salary Package
This is live out role usually working Monday to Friday.  Your hours will depend on what needs to be done on any particular day but will be similar to 8am to 6.30pm.  Salary will depend on experience but will be in the region of £500 to £600 per week net.
