Live-out Governess / Home Assistant / Nanny Required - Hampstead
£450 - £500 net per week based on experience
Full time, Five days a week, 10am – 7pm with one hour’s lunch break. We are a friendly Chinese family who recently settled in the UK with two boys aged 6 and 13. We are looking for a live-out Governess/Home Assistant/Nanny to support the mother during the day and share care for the children after school and during school holidays. The older boy goes to boarding school during the week and therefore only needs holiday care. We travel during every school holiday and require someone who is ready and willing to travel extensively.
During the day/while the children are at school, you will be expected to:
*Perform PA duties for the mother, assist with household errands, travel arrangements etc
*The mother wishes to improve her English and therefore we would like a native English speaker who is friendly, energetic and easy to communicate with
*Light tidying and house chores – we have cleaners so only ad-hoc light household chores are expected
*You will be expected to bring your own lunch as the family keeps to a very lean diet
In the evening:
*Pick up after school and communicate with teacher about children’s progress
*Overseeing of homework
*Organise after school activities and play dates
*Shared care nanny duties – there will almost always be other help within the household
School holidays:
*We travel almost every school holidays and when we do, you will be expected to work 6 days a week with flexible hours. We would like you to be able to travel with us during every school holiday (you will be reimbursed for extra days worked)
*Organise activities for the children
*Assist with PA duties for the mother
The right person will be:
*British, Fluent/Native English only
*Experienced, reliable and responsible
*Loving, fun, flexible and willing to commit long term
*Have experience working in a HNW household
*Available to travel with a valid EU passport
*A love for traveling and flexible to travel with the family on most school holidays.
*Teaching experience an advantage
*Excellent references and CRB check required. Immediate start available.
*Driving license preferred though not essential
