We are a warm and friendly family based in NW11 looking for a live out, full time nanny for our 2 children. Hours are 730am-630pm Monday-Friday, although there may be opportunities to leave slightly earlier on some Fridays subject to activities. Our 2 children are 11 and 8 years old, and are in school 815am-330/4 pm during term time. We also have 2 cats and a young puppy in the household.
We are looking for someone who is qualified and experienced, organised, confident, proactive, loving, firm but gentle, discrete, cheerful, able to help with homework, flexible and proactive to join our family. As both our children are involved in a range of sporting activities, someone who is interested and involved in sporting activities would be an advantage. You must be a non smoker. The ability to drive (a full and clean driving licence is required) is essential, as well as the ability to travel overseas with the family from time to time during school holidays for 1 or 2 weeks as we have an overseas home.
All the usual nanny duties are expected including:
School runs and dropping off and picking up from afterschool activities
Helping plan and prepare meals and snacks
Keeping children’ clothes, Toys and bedrooms organised
Helping with the homework
Helping plan activities and play dates after school where appropriate and during the school holidays
Excellent English, preferably as a first language is required
Some PA duties will be included during term time when the children are at school including grocery, shopping, house admin and errands when needed (a cleaner is already employed at the house). We also have a young puppy who has recently joined the family so dog walking and playing during the day will be needed.
We are looking for someone to be capable, experienced and confident with sole care as both parents work although they sometimes work from home (1 day a week)
