Role: Nanny/Tutor

We are seeking a French speaking after-school Nanny/Tutor to care for G15 and G10 within a HNW household in Hampstead, North London.
You will be fluent in both French and English and have 5 + years’ experience as a Nanny/Tutor, possess a teaching qualification, and have extensive knowledge of the UK curriculum. This is a fantastic opportunity for an exceptional Nanny with Governess/Tutoring experience seeking an after-school role.
The Nanny/Tutor will be expected to collect the girls from school at 3pm and work through to 9pm, Monday – Friday during term time. In the school holidays the family will require additional hours, along with occasional travel with them to France so flexibility is essential.
The family consists of two adults and their two daughters aged 10 years old and 15 years old. You will join a small dedicated team of staff which includes one Housekeeper, a Housekeeper/Cook and a family PA. The role will be primarily educationally focused, but the Nanny/Tutor will be responsible for all aspects of the girls wellbeing during the working hours.
Previous experience working within a residence as a private Tutor is essential.

The duties for the role will include;
• Provide a range of engaging educational activities
• Assist with homework tasks and sample exam papers
• Promote and encourage good behavior and manners
• Escort the children to extra curriculum activities
• Act as a positive role model
• Extensive planning and diary management for the children
• Planning, booking and chaperoning the children to activities, classes and on outings
• Liaise with teachers, instructors, and medical professionals
• Monitoring the girls progress
• Liaise with teachers and the child’s parents and report on their progress
To be considered for this role you must;
 
• Have 5 + years’ previous experience working as a Nanny/Tutor within a private household
• Be eligible to work in the UK
• Possess a Teaching Qualification
• Have excellent contactable references
• Possess an up to date UK DBS check
• Possess an up to date First Aid Qualification.
