We are looking for a loving and energetic live-out after school nanny for a sole charge position. There is the option to also work a few hours each morning. We have one son who is 4 ½. He is starting school this September.
We would like to hire a native Spanish speaker so our son can continue to speak Spanish at home.
The nanny needs to have experience working with children of similar age in a sole charge position, nursery or school with an interest in child development and teaching.
The position is based in Kensington, W8.
Daily duties include
1. Safety for the child
2. Stimulation of the child: doing homework, writing and reading, arts and crafts, story reading and telling, music, physical activity.
3. Cooking healthy meals
4. Pick up from school and if working in the mornings also drop-off.
5. Going to sports and music activities, museums, the zoo, library.
6. Keeping the child's area tidy and clean.
7. Child's laundry
Working hours are Monday to Friday from 14.15 to 18.45 and two week-day evenings babysitting. If someone wants to work more hours, there is the opportunity to do so in the morning.
There is also flexibility around the hours on Friday and potentially having Friday off.
