Our client is moving to London over the summer and is seeking a live in tutor who is a primary trained teacher to tutor their 8 year-old twin boys.
The family is French and would like the tutor to work on the boys’ English reading, comprehension, writing and speaking. One of the boys has dyslexia and feels no one understands him, so a teacher with experience with dyslexia and a kind, understanding personality is key.
The teacher would be in charge of the children in the morning before they go to school and in the afternoon after they return from school.
The teacher will be liaising with the speech and language therapist, and with the school teachers and lower school co-ordinators.
In addition to the salary of £2,100-2600 per month, the tutor will have a very nice room and private bathroom in the family house, with satellite TV, wifi and a car at their disposal.
The teacher will also travel with the family during all their trips abroad.
Candidates shall:
• Have the right to work in the UK
• Have clear written and spoken English
• Have a primary QTS
• Have experience working with children with dyslexia
• Have a clear DBS
• Checkable references including your current employer
• Role is for 2 years.
