This a great job for a Tagalog or Nepalese (and English) speaking Domestic Couple to work for a lovely family based on the London/Surrey border (less than an hour into Central London)- one of you will be the housekeeper and the other doing handyman work, some driving for the family and also helping the gardener when needed. The family have one child who is 17.
The job will be for a housekeeper to keep the house cleaned and well presented at all times and you should know how to clean special surfaces, laundry and ironing including the care of fine fabrics, changing the bed and other household linen, set the table for meals, make sure that there are flowers in the reception rooms, meet and greet visitors and generally make sure that the house runs well. There is very little cooking with this role but you may be asked to help with food preparation.
The job for the other half of the couple will be doing general maintenance in the house to include looking after the systems that control the heating and swimming pool, driving the Principals to business and social meetings, keeping the area around the house clean and tidy, looking after the cars, dealing with the recycling, and anything else that is needed to maintain the property in good order. You will need to be an experienced driver for this role. (The housekeeper does not need to drive)
It is essential that you have worked in a similar role as a Domestic Couple in an executive style residence for at least three years with suitable references. You will both need to speak Tagalog or Nepalese, and English and you both need to be reliable with a 'can do' attitude.
You will be working Monday to Friday and your hours will be discussed at interview but will similar to 8am to 7pm with a break during the day. You will have separate accommodation away from the main house which will be rented and paid for by the Principals (sorry no children) Salary will be in the region of £800-850 net per week.
