You would need to travel to Brighton from London, each week, during term time, stay with him in a 2 room arrangement in a hotel. You would be responsible for our son’s care during the hours he is not at college, ie in the morning and then in the afternoon/evening after his college day is finished.
You would have some free time during the day at home when our son is working with tutors and teachers, and when he is at college during the day, in Brighton, during term time. We will need some occasional evening childcare. You will need to help our son on Saturday mornings and then have free time over the rest of the weekend. Sometimes Saturday evening babysitting will be required. Sunday is typically free time. You would have plenty of free time when we are away (and not travelling with us) which is several times per year.
We live in a large flat with a large garden, in a desirable, safe neighbourhood in North West London. You would have your own nice, well-sized bedroom. There is internet access. Our home is well located with many amenities nearby and excellent transport links.
You will need to commit to a year, or at least until August 2022 when our son is due to finish attending college in Brighton. Our plan is for him then to return to living at home in London full time and to follow a London based curriculum of on-going education, music, work experience, and therapy.
Pay is competitive. We would prefer for you to work on a self-employed basis, though we would also be willing to employ you directly ourselves if you are the 'right' person for us!
If you are interested, you will need to have a visa or be allowed to live and study in the UK, and you must provide a cv, good and up-to-date refereenvereferences, a DBS/CRB (Criminal Records Bureau disclosure) a photo and good references. We hope to hear from you soon!
