LIVE-IN / OUT HOUSEKEEPER / COOK

ATTRACTIVE SALARY
Live-in or Live-out Housekeeper / Cook is required for a British family of five (3 children aged 11 - 7 years old) based near Petworth, Sussex. The family home has 5 bedrooms with additional guest rooms in the outbuildings. It is a friendly and welcoming family residence which is kept to a very high standard in terms of organisation and cleanliness. The family also have two dogs. A full time Nanny is employed, however you will be required to do one school run per day (competent driving skills essential) and assist with some of the children's activities.
You will have very high standards and take pride in cleaning, laundry care and ironing (all linen / bed sheets are sent out) Good, healthy cooking skills are preferable together with a positive outlook and willingness to be flexible in attitude. Good work ethic is essential. You may be required to assist with dinner parties although they do not entertain on a regular basis.
Should you prefer to live-in - accommodation would initially be your own room / shared bathroom with the Nanny in the Guest house. However in time, the Principals would consider renting a cottage in the nearby village.
It is preferred that the candidate already own a car; however a pool car can be provided for work errands, school runs and out of hours.
Days: Monday to Friday - 9:00 am to 7:30 pm
Occasional weekend work will be required but you will be given notice and time off in lieu.
Salary - Live-in £400 - £450 net per week
Live-out - £500 net per week.
