Hello!
We are a friendly French family living in Teddington (30 mns train to Waterloo). We are looking for a driven and enthusiastic live-in nanny to look after  our three children aged 2, 4 and 7, starting ideally 26/2.
Hours:  Monday-Friday, 0745-1900, and 2 evenings babysitting on weekdays.
Competitive salary for live-in nanny position. Accommodation, bills, utilities, food included.

Your role will include

Supervision of the children, looking after their needs, welfare, development, health and safety.
Playing with the children including arts and crafts, taking them to the activities and play dates.
Encouraging development of skills such as speaking, reading, writing, arithmetic, drawing, music, dressing, and completing their homework with them.
Taking the children to and from nursery / school.
Keeping the children’s bedrooms, bathroom and play room clean and tidy every day.
Laundry the children’s clothes and bedding.
Cooking healthy meals for the children
Bathing the children

Requirements:

Right to work in the UK
Several years (at least 2 years) of experience looking after children, including young ones.
Passion for childcare and enjoys engaging in activities with them.
Able to create a structure and consistent rules for the children; natural authority with children.
English speaker; French a bonus
Able to interview in person within the next couple of weeks.
Non-smoker
Usual checks and references required: up-to-date first aid, formal qualifications, CRB check.

If we do not find the right person for this role, we will consider the option of having both an au pair (40 hours per week) and an after-school nanny (20 hours per week). If that is something you are interested in, please let us know.
