We are a friendly trilingual family with 3 children in Chelsea (ages 10, 8 and 3). Both parents work. We are looking for a responsible and caring nanny or au pair with prior experience who is passionate about children. The pay and position is dependent on prior experience and education. Main working hours are after-school: 3-7, plus one babysit. For au pairs there would also be one morning school run on average. Additional hours are flexible. The total weekly hours could be between 25 - 35, depending on the candidate.
The position comes with a lovely newly renovated and newly furnished room with parquet floors and its own new bathroom and a separate entrance to the house, as well as microwave and fridge, which is almost like its own flat.
The position consists of taking care of the children after school, encouraging them to practice their instruments (cello, violin, piano), making sure their home work is done well and on time, playing especially with the youngest, taking the children to after school activities and playdates or hosting playdates at our house. In addition, simple cooking of evening meals, and taking care of the children's laundry.
The position could start from 21 August, latest is beginning of September. Minimum commitment until 20 July 2022, but can also stay longer.
We look forward to your application with a full CV and photo, and checkable references following a first in-person interview or Skype. Candidates with educational background and interests as well as those playing an instrument are preferred. Good pay depending on level of experience and educational background (such as teaching). Minimum experience two years' working with children.
