We are a young family living in West London (Acton, W3), looking for Live-IN Nanny / Housekeeper for September 2022. We have 3 children (B12, G10, G8) who all go to school. We are an active and friendly family, easy enough to live with. The family is multi-lingual (English, French, Danish) with English being the common language. We’ve had au pairs and live-in nannies for the past 10 years and have had fantastic experiences! So we can provide our own references and are happy to put you in touch with them :)
We live in a large house with a big garden and provide excellent accommodation (newly decorated bright and spacious double-bedroom with view over the garden and and a spacious and completely new bathroom, which is shared with our 10 yr old who is super tidy). Location is very well connected to Central London. We are close to several parks, 5mn walk from London Overground, 15mn walk from 3 tube lines (Piccadilly, District and Central), 10mn walk from Acton Main line.
Our children are very lively (and lovely) kids! They enjoy being outside and practice a lot of sports (football, swimming, ballet, etc…). We are looking for someone who can look after them before and after school, prepare meals and help with various errands and household tasks to make sure the household is running well. Please note we have a cleaner who comes twice a week to do the cleaning (including bed changing) and all the ironing.
The role is 45 hours a week. Hours will be grouped in the morning (before school) and after school with a few hours in between. Contract will include up to 2 evening babysittings / week (but in reality we probably need 3-4 / month maximum). Weekends are free (apart from the occasional evening babysitting).
Our ideal nanny / housekeeper will be someone who:
- is super organised, tidy and punctual
- can establish a close relationship with our children, help them develop and learn new things, and engage them in activities they enjoy
- truly enjoys looking after children
- is energetic and has a positive outlook on life.
- is proactive, takes initiatives and is very pragmatic (you need to be with kids!)
- can help our children with their English homework
- enjoys cooking
Mandatories:

- Proficient verbal and written English
- Checkable references
- Previous experience looking after children (note we are open to a junior nanny, but you would need to have at least a bit of experience)
- Clean police criminal record
- No pets
- No live-in couples - thanks
Please note driving is not necessary.
