Hello,
We are looking for a happy and organised live-in Nanny for our two lovely kids - Robyn (3) and Jacob (9), who are both in school. Both parents will be working full time.
We are based in West Hampstead in NW London - about 1 minute walk from Finchley Rd tube (Jubilee Line), the overground is 10 Mins away and all central London buses run along Finchley Rd. We have a large Victorian House and you would have your own bedroom and bathroom, with TV and Data lines in your room.
About you:
Are you of a sunny disposition and come to work smiling?
Are you neat, tidy and organised?
Are self motivated and can use your initiative?
Have a good level of spoken English?
Experienced at dealing with 3 year old tantrums and pre-teen sulks?
Are you good at both playing with children and disciplining them when needed?
Can you cook?
Can you commit to working with us until October 2022?
Are you able to provide verifiable references and work legally in the UK until October 2022?
Are you able to be a part of family but also respect our family time at weekends?
The role:
During term time the duties would be from 7.00am until 9.30am and then from 3.00 until 7.00pm with occasional weekday babysitting and regular weekend babysitting.
During holidays the hours will be longer and the pay would increase accordingly.
You would be expected to help with:
Morning: Getting the kids ready for school - dressed, breakfasted, cleaning up the kitchen, school run, bed making, light housekeeping duties (we have a cleaner who comes twice a week).
Evening: school run, organising, dropping and collecting from playdates and clubs, homework, dinner for kids and prepping dinner for the adults, cleaning up the kitchen and playroom as needed, bathtime for the kids. You would have your meal with the kids.
During the holidays (half terms) you will need to drop the children to camps as needed and or organise playdates and days out.
The salary would be between £150 and £250 per week depending on your experience
