What we are looking for?
We are looking for a responsible, experienced, full-time
nanny/mothers help to join our busy family, to help with looking after our 4 children (age 8,6,4 and baby). This is mothers help job with household help/ cooking and driving and generally supporting mum who works from home part time. We are looking for someone that can be responsible for looking after all the kids on their own (I work part time) but who is equally happy mucking in and helping out around the house if the kids are at school or nursery. So basically someone that is happy to be flexible, who is easy to get on with and is happy to be in the house with the mum around but can also cope on their own looking after all the children. We also need someone who can drive so will need to hold a full driving licence and be capable of driving safely in London.
Working hours:
- Monday to Friday 7AM- 7:15 PM. Depending on nanny needs we are happy to give some time off in the day if needed.
- 2 nights per week babysitting (this could include overnight if parents are away)
- Must be happy to travel with family if needed
Main duties:
The Main duty will be to support the mum in running the house and looking after the girls
- Sole responsibility for getting the children up and ready for nursery, and school including breakfast, brushing teeth, hair etc.
- Taking kids to nursery and school and picking them up from nursery and school. Walking and driving.
- Doing activities like going to park, library, play dates, swimming, ballet, – this won’t be with all kids at once will depend on who is at home and what the mum is doing.
- Homework. Your English must be good enough that you can do reading and homework with the children
- Putting baby down for lunchtime nap/ quiet time
- Nursery duties : washing for kids and tidying playroom/ their room (with them - we encourage the children to do cleaning/tidying/ unstacking dishwasher etc themselves)
- Cooking – breakfast, lunch and supper for kids – healthy, varied meals.
- Errands such as taking dry cleaning, shopping (though mainly do shopping online) etc
