This is a live-in position, starting at the beginning of January, in a spacious, clean and happy home in Hampstead, North West London.
The position involves around 35-40 hours per week, mainly Monday to Friday, with a few hours on alternate Saturday mornings. Mornings after the children go to school are free.
The successful candidate will need to:
- get the children ready for school – breakfast, dressed, bags etc
- play with, feed and care for them after school
- play a positive role in the children’s learning, wellbeing and development
- manage play dates and after-school activities
- on occasion take them to the park/library/activities
- babysit 2-3 evenings a week (including a weekend night)
You will also be asked to help with family chores:
- keeping the house tidy
- dishwasher loading/unloading
- organising, cleaning and putting away Toys
- hanging out, folding and sorting laundry (including ironing)
- cooking for the children and helping with family meals
- other small jobs as required (e.g. Unpacking, shopping deliveries etc)
Weekends will be free apart from babysitting and alternate Saturday mornings until 12/1.
You will have a lovely, light bedroom with bathroom, TV and WiFI. Food and accommodation costs will be fully covered.
We will pay a generous allowance, negotiable depending on previous experience.
Our house is a 10 minute walk from Hampstead underground station, 2 Mins walk to Finchley Road, and 5 minutes from the High Street where there are shops and cafes.
You must be legally eligible to work in the UK without restriction, speak good English and be available in London over the next few weeks for face-to-face interviews.
