Salary: £350 net/week
A lovely family from East Finchley, London, are looking for a Junior Nanny/Housekeeper who would like to gain great experience with toddlers and a new-born, and in a housekeeping field. The accommodation they offer is a top floor with a bedroom and a bathroom for the private use. The family have 2 children now, aged 4 years and 2 years, and another baby will be born in December 2021. The 4-year-old goes to school full-time until 3pm, and the 2-year-old goes to nursery Monday-Friday until 12noon, which will give you enough time to do housekeeping and to have a good break for yourself. Your childcare duties will include looking after the older children on a shared care with the mother, school runs, taking the children to the parks, playgrounds, organising classes and playgroups, sole charge with the children for up to 2 hours in a day, helping with the new-born baby if you would like to gain some experience, and playing with the children. The housekeeping duties will include cleaning of the whole house, the family washing and ironing, and keeping the house tidy daily. There is no cooking involved - just simple food preparations of snacks and simple foods for the children (the mother does both cooking and food shopping, and she is happy to teach the nanny/housekeeper to cook). Also, there are no pets to look after. If you are flexible, happy to Muck in, with some experience of looking after children, and able to be on top of all duties, then this vacancy is just for you!
