This is a lovely job for a Housekeeper to work for a friendly family living in a beautiful Chelsea home. You will need to have worked at a top level and know how to present a house to the highest level.
The family have three children, 8, 5 and 3 - and they also have a full time nanny to look after them.
Your role will include; cleaning the house including the care of specialist surfaces, changing the beds and other household linens, laundry and ironing - and you should know how to look after fine fabrics, dealing with contractors, gardeners etc. As needed, household shopping and running errands, wardrobe management, greeting guests, keep the outside area around the house neat and tidy, and anything else that arises to make sure that the house runs smoothly. You will also need to be able to cook a simple supper for two adults three times a week - they are not looking for a chef but someone who can make chicken and salad or similar. The Nanny cooks for the children.
It is essential that you have worked as a housekeeper in a high level executive style home for at least 3 years with suitable references. You will need to speak good English, be able to communicate with tradespeople if needed, and be happy to work using your own initiative and be able to organise your own day.
This is a live in or a live out role working Monday to Friday 8am to 7pm, with a break during the day. Your accommodation is in a separate part of the house with your own front door and you will have your own bedroom and private bathroom and a kitchenette. Salary will depend upon your experience but will be in the range of £500 to £550 net per week.
