We have a family in London who are looking to employ a Housekeeper/Cook. The family live in a large townhouse five story’s high so you must be someone that is very used to working in a similar sized home. As the Housekeeper Cook you will be responsible for all cleaning of the home, family laundry, and family meals. The meals are important part of your position as the family would like someone who can cook to a good standard, follow recipes and also be inventive with coming up with new healthy ideas that will interest the children. You will also prepare a meal for the whole family approximately three times per week.
The children are aged 8 and 10 years old and have an after school nanny. One of the parents is also at home and helps out with the children on school pick up and drop off (10 minutes’ walk from home). There will however be occasions where the nanny is not working and the parent is busy that you may need to pick up the children from school.
There is a family puppy that is new to the home and you need to be animal friendly and from time to time care for the puppy by walking and feeding.
The position is mostly Monday to Friday from 7am to 7pm but with flexibility to work an occasional Saturday morning for extra pay. Two nights baby-sitting to be included each week.
Accommodation is within the family home with room with bathroom and cooking facilities.
