This is a fabulous job for an experience Housekeeper! The role will be to look after a single lady with a beautiful Belgravia home. You would be working in a household with a Chef and a Chauffeur.
The role would be to keep the house looking immaculate and well presented at all times. When the lady is in residence you would be cleaning, doing the laundry and ironing and you should know how to look after fine fabrics and designer clothing, changing the bed and other household linen, setting the table for meals, greeting guests and serving refreshments, wardrobe management, and anything that is needed to make the household run smoothly. When the Principal is away travelling, and she travels quite a lot, then you would have time to organise wardrobes, do some deep cleaning etc. As she has a Chef there is no real cooking in this role, but you should be happy to make a light lunch if necessary. There is also a lovely friendly medium sized dog in the house, which you may need to look after on occasion - although the other staff also do this.
It is essential that you have worked in an executive style household as a housekeeper for at least 3 years with suitable references. You will need to be able to speak good English, organise your own day, have an eye for detail and be well presented.
This is a live in job. When the lady is away you would be able to have Saturday and Sunday as your days off, when she is in residence you will need to be flexible with your days off, but you will get two days off a week including Sunday. Your accommodation is in a private part of the house with your own lovely bedroom and bathroom and your own cooking facilities. Salary will be £500 per week net.
